OVERVIEW OF THE TOUR
The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most beloved attractions. Spanning the south-eastern coast of the country, this stretch of road has a rich history and a smattering of incredible natural wonders that have been carved out of the landscape over millions of years.
On this one-day adventure, you’ll get to discover everything the Great Ocean Road has to offer, from rugged cliffs that disappear into the wild ocean, to quirky rock formations and lush, dense rainforest.
We start by making our way over the West Gate Bridge, enjoying views of Melbourne’s spectacular skyline as we go. From there, we’ll head on to the charming surfing town of Anglesea, where we’ll take a break and grab some refreshments.
Afterwards, we’ll continue along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay, where we’ll stop for lunch (at your own expense). After you've refuelled we'll pass through the lush rainforest of the beautiful Otway National Park. Discover centuries-old plants and venture deep into the heart of one of Australia's most mesmerising rainforest.
Throughout the day, you’ll also get to see some of the Great Ocean Road’s most iconic attractions. We’ll stop off at the world-famous Twelve Apostles, a selection of jutting rock formations that soar out of the sea, Loch Ard Gorge, and Razorback.
This tour is the perfect introduction to the Great Ocean Road, where you’ll learn about the history that still imbues this part of the world and explore fascinating natural wonders that hark back thousands of years.
